– The application deadline for admission to St. Paul school is November 15. This applies to admission for grades 1 and 8.
– Katolsk Forum will have its next meeting on Tuesday October 13th at 7:45 p.m., after the evening mass. The lecture (in Norwegian) will be given by Kim Larsen, associate professor at the NLA University College here in Bergen. The topic of the lecture is the thought of Wilfrid Stinissen regarding the life of surrender to God.
– This Autumn’s Marriage Preparation Course will begin on Wednesday Oct. 28th at 6:30 p.m., in the teachers lunch room at St. Paul School. The course goes over 5 Wednesdays, until Nov. 25th. Anyone who intends to be married in the Catholic Church is required to attend the course. For more information see the poster outside the church and the page on the church website entitled “Katekese og kurs“. A new course will be offered in the Spring.
– Sunday, Oct. 18th is World Mission Sunday. The collection on that day will go to the Norway national office of the Pontifical Mission Society.
