The Vietnamese group invites everyone to join in their Maria procession at Marias Minde on Saturday 26th May at 11 am. Afterwards there will be mass & church coffee.
Next Sunday, 27th May, all children who will be 3 years of age this year are invited to receive a children’s bible during high mass at 11 am & to take part afterwards in the children’s church cafe in the school staff room. During this mass there will also be enrollment to 1st communion instruction for children born in 2010 (2nd class).
Sunday 3rd June is the feast of Corpus Christi. At 2 pm there will be Norwegian mass in Johanneskirken & Polish mass in St. Paul church. The processions form both of these masses will meet at Museumplassen which will be the 1st altar. There will then be altars at John Lunds plass, by Little Lunegårdsvann & finally in the school playground.
The Mother Therese sisters are collecting clothes for refugees in Athens. Summer clothes for both children & adults can be handed in to the presbytery weekdays, Monday to Friday, between 2 & 7 pm. until 1st June
23rd June, the eve of St Hans day, there will be a big ecumenical gathering, with hymns & prayers, at Bergenhus Festning. St Paul parish is taking part. The organizers are looking for volunteers to help with the event.
