It is also the founding day of the \u201cMissionaries of Charity\u201d. The Mother Teresa sisters invite everyone to prayers starting after the 11am mass &amp; finishing just before evening mass. Every hour the Rosary will be prayed in a different language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Sunday 13<sup>th<\/sup> October is Fatima day. Everyone is invited to a gathering in the school staff room directly after high mass to talk about the parish pilgrimages to Fatima last year &amp; Poland this year. There will be photos &amp; talk about experiences. MAHD group will provide some light refreshments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Wednesday 16<sup>th<\/sup> October we celebrate the memorial of the baptism of St. Olav. We also celebrate that it is 1000 years since St. Olav brought Christianity to Norway. There will be high mass at 7 pm followed by a gathering in the crypt, with refreshments. All are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0Sunday 27<sup>th<\/sup> October there will be Portuguese mass at Marias Minde at 3pm followed by church coffee. Before mass (2pm) there will be confessions in Portuguese in the chapel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 Anyone wanting to be married in the Catholic church must complete a preparation course. This autumn&#8217;s marriage course starts on Monday 21<sup>st<\/sup> October from 6 to 8 pm in the school staff room &amp; will continue the following 4 Mondays. Enrolment at the parish office or to one of the priests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; The parish office will be&nbsp; closed on Monday 7<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; Tuesday 8<sup>th<\/sup> October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0The closing date for applicants to St Paul school, both 1<sup>st<\/sup> &amp; 8<sup>th<\/sup> class, is 15<sup>th<\/sup> November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;Monday 7th October we celebrate Mary of the Rosary.
