The collection will therefore go to <em>Missio Norge<\/em>.&nbsp; See the poster for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fall\u2019s marriage preparation course starts on Monday October 21<sup>st<\/sup>, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the schoolteachers\u2019 workroom. Anyone wanting to be married in the Catholic church must complete this course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sunday Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. there will be a Portuguese mass at Maria\u2019s Minde, followed by church coffee. Confessions will be heard before the mass, starting at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone working with children, youth or vulnerable adults in our parish must participate in a required abuse-prevention course. The course will be held on Wednesday Oct. 30 and Thursday Nov. 12, from 5.00-6.45 p.m. in the school auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thursday Oct. 31 there will be an All-Saints Eve party, where children, youth and adults are encouraged to dress up as a saint of their choosing. Start to plan your costume now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for applications to St. Paul school is Nov. 15<sup>th<\/sup>, for both first and eighth grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone interested in contributing to the annual parish festival in January, in the form of a song or dance or some other performance, please contact Flavius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next Sunday we go over to Winter Time and clocks will be set back one hour; that is, Saturday night we get an extra hour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend is Missions Sunday.
