This weekend Mgr. Fredrik Hansen was consecrated as bishop. St. Paul parish wishes to send him a gift for the occasion. Extra collections will be held at the end of all masses today. It is also possible to send a Vipps through the parish Vipps number 11576. Check the box “Gave til biskop-elekt Fredrik”. The money will be sent to the Oslo diocese and used to purchase a reliquary, as well as to support the diocesan seminary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The student group Fides is starting up again this week. We meet every Sunday evening after the English mass in the “Birgitta Room” in the parish building to the left of the church entrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sunday, January 26, we celebrate the parish’s patronal feast, the Conversion of St. Paul. We begin with the High Mass at 11 a.m., followed by a celebration in the school’s gymnasium with food, entertainment and a raffle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Spring Marriage Preparation Course starts on Monday Feb. 3 from 6-8 p.m. Sign up with one of the priests or at the parish office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The parish Lenten retreat will be held from Feb. 28 to March 2 here in St. Paul church. Father Arnold Suhardi, a Montfortian from Rome, will be speaking on the theme “The spirit of Christ versus the spirit of the world”.
