There will be a course for adults on the Good Shepherd catechism from 4<sup>th<\/sup> to 7<sup>th<\/sup> June. For those who will help with Confirmation catechism there will be course on 13<sup>th<\/sup> June from 2-5 pm. For more information &amp; enrolment see the notice &amp; contact Reidun Jofrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enrolment for this autumn\u2019s catechism for children &amp; young people of all ages is now open on the parish website. There will be an information meeting at <strong>Marias Minde at 11 am on Saturday 13<sup>th<\/sup> June<\/strong> about the <strong>start of 1<sup>st<\/sup> communion catechism for children who will be starting in 2nd class. <\/strong>For young people starting in 8<sup>th<\/sup> class &amp; their parents there will be an information meeting &amp; enrolment to preparation for confirmation in the <strong>auditorium of St Paul school after high mass on Sunday 14<sup>th<\/sup> June&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After evening mass on Thursday 11th June there will be adoration of the blessed sacrament with musicians &amp; singers. Everyone is invited to come and experience the peace, love &amp; healing which comes from Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elections to the parish council will be on 13<sup>th<\/sup>&amp; 14<sup>th<\/sup> June. You can vote in the crypt before or after mass. You can also vote in advance at the parish office Monday- Friday 10am to 12 noon &amp; Wednesday until 3 pm. <strong>Note:<\/strong> take valid identification with you (ID card, passport, driving licence or bank card with full name &amp; a picture) otherwise you will not be able to vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carole Husby who worked for the parish for many years passed away on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> June after a short illness. There will be a Requiem mass for her at 11 am on Wednesday 10<sup>th<\/sup> June.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Would you like to help with catechism teaching?
