The new council is as follows :<\/p>\n<p>Elected members: Anna Samuelsen, Saul Graces Borquez, Maria Christina Hesjedal, Quoc-Long Nguyen, Eugene Sebastian, Krzysztof Sledzki.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies: Arne Kleppestrand &amp; Ryszard Marek Ukrainski.<\/p>\n<p>Appointed by the parish priest: Johann Falkenberg, Men Van Nguyen &amp; Robert Dayandan.<\/p>\n<p>The consultative representatives for Sogn &amp; Fjordane, Marcin Fojcik, Pawel Mielnik &amp; Traut Dvergsdal, continue.<\/p>\n<p>The consultative representatives for Voss, Marisa Taylor &amp; Damian Kalawski, also continue.<\/p>\n<p>The parish priest &amp; parish council would like to thank the election committee, led by Benta Braza, Andreas Christiansen &amp; Chau-Son Do, for the\u00a0 successful completion of the election.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 25<sup>th<\/sup> June there will be an organ concert in St. Paul Church at 4 pm given by Otto Christian Odland, organist in St. Olav&#8217;s Cathedral in Oslo &amp; former organist in St. Paul Church.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday 9<sup>th<\/sup> July is the festival of \u00abSeljumannamesse\u00bb at Selja to celebrate St. Sunniva, the patron saint of Norway&#8217;s west coast, &amp; her followers. V\u00e5r Frue parish in \u00c5lesund is arranging a pilgrimage to Selja led by their parish priest O.M. Stamnestr\u00f8. Members of other parishes are welcome to join them. The boat to Selja will leave at 11.30 am, at 11.45 am there will be a procession from B\u00f8 to the monastery ruins &amp; at 12.30 pm High mass will be celebrated in the ruins of the monastery church. There will then be a couple of hours break before the boat back to the mainland leaves at 3.30 pm from the monastery ruins.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The parish council election was held on 11th &amp; 12th June.
