Onsdag 7.desember var det St. Paul-korets Julekonsert. Kirken var stappfull med forventningsfullt publikum. Koret presenterte et variert program med klassiske og moderne innslag fra J.S.Bach (med solosang av Roystan James) til Benjamin Britten og Roxana Panufniks \u00abSov lille Jesus\u00bb basert p\u00e5 en polsk vuggesang var en gledelig og oppfriskende kombinasjon av det moderne og det folkelige. Og mer kjente folketoner og advents- og julesanger var ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 programmet, med bl.a. spansk \u00abLos Companilleros\u00bb spilt av Isabel Velasco-Rodriguez, og afro-amerikansk \u00abMary Had a Baby\u00bb (med solo av Einar Kjellback). Det var ogs\u00e5 urfremf\u00f8ring av \u00abJolenatt\u00bb av Amund Dahlen med tekst av Torstein Knudsen.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00f8rdag 10.desember \u2013 var det menighetens tradisjonelle \u00abVi synger julen inn\u00bb konsert med aspirantkoret, barnekoret, solister og St. Paul-koret. Barnekoret imponerte med flott fremf\u00f8ring av bl.a. \u00abJula tindrar bak advent\u00bb og \u00abRagtime carol\u00bb. Julen var ikke bare sunget inn, det var ogs\u00e5 spilt inn p\u00e5 orgel \u2013 av elever fra Orgelklubben Ferdinand (Michelle, Maria, Maxala og Leo) og, strykere \u00a0Clara, Katarina og Mattias.<\/p>\n<p>Det er gledelig at vi har s\u00e5 mange dyktige musikere i alle aldre som bidrar til musikklivet i v\u00e5r menighet. Og det blir mer etter Jul!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fra og med fredag 6. januar 2017 starter \u00ab<em>FREDAGSKONSERTENE i ST. PAUL\u00bb<\/em>.
