Caritas church coffee is starting up again in Birgittakjelleren immediately following the Tuesday evening masses, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., starting with April 18th.<\/p>\n
Tuesday April 18th the Catholic Forum will be having a lecture (in Norwegian) by Peder Solberg, theologian and senior lecturer at the NLA University\u00a0College, Bergen. The title of the lecture is \u201cThe Theory of Evolution: A Challenge for the Faith of the Church?\u201d The lecture will take place in the school teachers workroom at 7:45 p.m.<\/p>\n
All who would like to sing with the Halleluja-choir in next Sunday’s high mass are invited to a joint rehearsal with the St. Paul choir on Wednesday, April 19, from 8-9 p.m.<\/p>\n
This week’s Friday concert at 5 p.m. will feature Easter hymns, performed by cathedral organist Sigurd Melv\u00e6r \u00d8gaard and our own Amund Dahlen at the organ, together with Stefan Bivand on violin. Pupils from the Organ Club Ferdinand will also participate.<\/p>\n
Father Godwin Adahada visits our parish the 4th weekend of every month to serve English-speaking Africans. There will be opportunity for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Saturday April 22 at 3:30 p.m. in the upstairs chapel above the left aisle (entrance from the church office) and a gathering on Sunday April 23 at 4:30 p.m. in Birgittakjelleren \u00a0(before the English mass.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
