Katolske Forum start their Autumn talks on Thursday 14th September at 7.45 pm in the school staff room. Alf Tore Hommedal will give a talk entitled “Monks, nuns, canons & religious brothers in Norway in the Middle ages”. About Norwegian monasteries in the Middle ages & their social significance. Everyone is welcome. Entrance kr. 30.
The annual pilgrimage to the Church of the Holy Cross in Fana takes place next Saturday, 16th September. The procession starts at St Paul church at 10.45 am, at Lagunen at 2.15 pm & at Stend station at 3.20 pm. It finishes with mass in Fana church at 4 pm.
