This fall’s marriage preparation course starts on Monday October 21st, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the schoolteachers’ workroom. Anyone wanting to be married in the Catholic church must complete this course.
Sunday Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. there will be a Portuguese mass at Maria’s Minde, followed by church coffee. Confessions will be heard before the mass, starting at 2 p.m.
Anyone working with children, youth or vulnerable adults in our parish must participate in a required abuse-prevention course. The course will be held on Wednesday Oct. 30 and Thursday Nov. 12, from 5.00-6.45 p.m. in the school auditorium.
Thursday Oct. 31 there will be an All-Saints Eve party, where children, youth and adults are encouraged to dress up as a saint of their choosing. Start to plan your costume now.
The deadline for applications to St. Paul school is Nov. 15th, for both first and eighth grades.
