Caritas Bergen are holding their annual general meeting in the crypt on Tuesday 29th April at 7.30 pm, directly after evening mass. Caritas Bergen in St. Paul parish’s diaconal organization which helps excluded & marginalized people in Bergen. All members of the parish from 18 years of age can take part in the meeting & have the right to speak & vote.
The organ in St. Paul church is 106 years old & needs adjusting. Anyone who wants to can give money via the parish vipps number, use the category “orgel”. There will be a tax reduction on donations given via the vipps app. More information is available on the poster at the back of the church.
Lenten boxes & gifts to Caritas’s Lenten action can be handed in to the parish office or the sacristy.
St Paul church has been chosen by Bishop Bernt as the pilgrim church for the Jubilee year. Those who go on a pilgrimage to St. Paul church & fulfil the conditions of an indulgence can get a complete indulgence. The Maria procession on 1st May this year will therefore go from Marias Minde to St. Paul church starting at 2 pm. The Jubilee year mass will be at 5pm in St. Paul church.
