Some people have reported receiving emails in the names of Dom Alois & Dom Gregor asking for money. These are fakes & must not be opened or replied to (the swindles use a gmail address starting with “kirkenett”).
The Bible group which reads & discusses a chapter of Luke’s gospel will meet again on Thursday 25th September from 7.45 -10 pm in the school staff room. See the notice board.
The parish has started a weekly gathering for young people, from 8th class & upwards, on Thursdays in the crypt starting at 5pm. It is a social meeting point with various activities, games, food & discussions about faith. It finishes with evening mass at 7pm.
The Montfort group “Mary Queen of all Hearts” invites everyone to take part in a retreat at Marias Minde from 26th -28th September led by p. Arnold Suhardi. The theme will be “Methods for growing in the grace of baptism”. It will be in English with translation if necessary. P. Arnold will also lead a gathering for children & parents at Marias Minde on Saturday 27th September, starting at 11 am.
Anyone wanting to be married in the Catholic church must complete a marriage preparation course. This autumn’s course starts on Monday 15th October from 6-8 pm in the school staff room & will continue the next 4 Mondays. Enrolment to the parish office or with one of the priests.
