ANNOUNCEMENTS SUNDAY 21st SEPTEMBER
The bible group which reads & discusses a chapter of Luke’s gospel will meet again on Thursday 25th September from 7.45 -10 pm in the school staff room. See the notice board.
Thursday 25th September Bergen Cathedral is hosting a conference entitled “Christian values as foundation for nation building”. One of the speakers will be Bishop Emmanuel Lowi from Southern Sudan. The conference is free & everyone is welcome. For more information see the poster & the parish website.
The Montfort group “Mary Queen of all Hearts” invites everyone to take part in a retreat at Marias Minne from 26th -28th September led by p. Arnold Suhardi. The theme will be “Means to grow in the grace of baptism”. It will be in English with translation if necessary. It is not necessary to enrol beforehand & you can take part in bits of the program. P. Arnold will also lead a gathering at Marias Minde on Saturday 27th September for children & parents starting at 11 am.
Welcome again to Monday coffee in the crypt on alternate Mondays from 29th September. We get together after mass, at approx.11.40 for coffee/tea, discussion & singing. Everyone is very welcome.
Anyone wanting a Catholic wedding must complete a preparatory course. This autumn’s course starts on Monday 13th October from 6-8 pm in the school staff room & will continue the next 4 Mondays. Enrolment to the parish office or one of the priests.
