A new digital platform for Catholics in Norway is launched on Discord: Norvegia Catholica. Here believers from all over Norway can meet for daily rosary, catholic news, discussions about faith & network with other members in the Church. See the notices, flyers & parish website.

Friday 31st October families with children & young people are invited to celebrate All Saints Eve. We encourage both young people & adults to come dressed as a specific saint. Meet in the crypt at 4.30 pm for singing practice. Mass at 5pm. Bring food that you want to share with others for the party afterwards. There will be singing & music, games & activities.

Saturday 1st November Erik Andvik will give a talk entitled “Jesus, incarnation & salvation” at 1pm in the staff room. All are welcome.

Saturday 1st November is All Saints Day. Masses at Marias Minde at 10am in polish & 12 noon in Norwegian.  St. Paul church mass at 12 noon is for Norwegian confirmation candidates, 3 pm in Polish, 6 pm Norwegian high mass & 7.30 pm Polish.

Saturday 1st November there will also be 1st Saturday prayers at 5 pm.

Sunday 2nd November is All Souls Day when the church prays for the deceased. All masses will be celebrated as Requiem masses. Family mass at 1pm will be followed a short gathering in the crypt so that those who want to can join the visit to the cemetery afterwards. We visit the graves at Møllendal cemetery at 3 pm. Meet in front of the chapel at 3 pm & then wander around & pray for our deceased & bless the graves.

Mass requests for All Souls Day can be handed in in an envelope with the name of those to be prayed for & a contribution inside. Envelopes are available at the back of the church & can be handed in to either the sacristy or the parish office.

The group “Mary queen of all hearts” invites all of those who want to begin consecration preparation to Jesus through the Virgin Mary to a meeting in the school staff room after evening mass on Tuesday 4th November. See the notice for more information.

Are you new to St. Pauls parish or have forgotten to register with the Catholic church in Norway? You can do this electronically at katolsk.no or using the registration form which is available at the back of the church & at the exit on the Maria side. Registration is free but the church gets a subsidy from the state for each registered member.

The enrolment deadline for St Paul school is 15th November for pupils starting in both 1st & 8th class.
