The student group Fides starts meeting again today after this English mass. Meet in front of the church at 7pm. The meetings are in Birgittakjelleren.
The Bible group will start meeting again on Thursday 22nd January after evening mass (approx.7.40pm). They will read chapter 12 of Luke’s gospel. New participants are very welcome.
Sunday 25th January we will celebrate our patron’s feast at 11am high mass. There will not be a parish party afterwards as there will be a big party when we celebrate the church’s jubilee in June.
St. Paul church will be closed from Monday 26th January. Weekday masses will be celebrated in the crypt. Sunday masses will be celebrated in Korskirken: 11 am in Norwegian, 1 pm family or national masses, 3pm Polish, 5pm English. National masses can possibly be celebrated at Marias Minde at 2 pm if this is agreed beforehand.
Would you like to contribute to our parish? We need people to stand for election to the parish council. Anyone interested should contact the parish office or one of the priests.
Norges Unge Katolikker (NUK) invites people to take part in a marriage retreat at Mariaholm from 13th to 15th March. The retreat is open for anyone aged 20 to 35 who are curious about the call to marriage. The enrolment deadline is today 18th January. More information on the parish website & the notice board.
Anyone wanting to be married in the Catholic Church must complete a marriage preparation course. This Spring’s course starts on Monday 2nd March from 6 to 8 pm in the school staff room & will continue the following 4 Mondays. Enrolment to the parish office or one of the priests.
