We need more candidates to the parish council elections. Would you like to be one of them or can you suggest someone? Contact one of the election committee members: Pål Augland, David Mariampillai, or Long from the parish council.
The bible group meets again after evening mass (approx. 7.40 pm) on Thursday 23rd April. New members are very welcome.
Sunday 26th April there will be Portuguese mass & baptism at 1.30 am in St. Sunniva chapel at St. Paul Gymnas followed by church coffee.
Caritas Bergen will hold its Annual General meeting on Tuesday 28th April at 7.30pm (after evening mass) in the conference room on the 4th floor of the parish office. All members of the parish who are at least 18 years old are entitled to speak & vote. Enrolment to the chairman Erik Andvik at email erik.andvik@nla.no not later than 26th April.
Next week Rebekah Rojcewicz, who will hold the Good Shepherd course, will be visiting. She will give 2 talks which are open for everyone: 1) Saturday 25th April from 4-6 pm “The essence & richness of The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd” 2) Sunday 26th April after high mass (approx. 12.15-1 pm) “Formation of the new Family — parents & their 0-3 yr old children” Both talks are in the school staff room.
There will be a Marian Procession on Friday 1st May from St Paul church to Marias Minde. Meet at 1 pm. Mass in English at 3 pm.
The closing date to order & get your name on the congratulation list in the jubilee book is Sunday 28th April. Go into the parish Vipps (#111576) & choose the category “Jubileumsbok”, pay at least 400kr towards the book’s production & write your name in the “meldingsfelt”. For the anniversary party in the gym on June 28, 2026, we need program contributions. We therefore encourage the parish groups to take part with a 3-5 min segment (singing/music, dancing etc.) Individuals can also sign up but groups will be prioritized.
