Today (17th May) the collection at all masses will go to the distressed people of Lebanon. While the Church in Norway together with the rest of the population thank God for peace, freedom & justice the catholic Bishops in the Nordic country’s direct attention to a land where everyday life is affected by war, fear & emergency. The parish office will be closed on Monday 18th May.
The bible group meets again after evening mass (approx. 7.40 pm) on Thursday 21st May to read chapter 16 in Luke’s gospel. New members are very welcome.
A reminder that there will be May devotion at 6.30 pm on Thursdays 21st & 28th May & a May procession at Maria Minde at 12 noon on Saturday 30th May. At the back of the church there are copies of both the Whitsun novena & the May devotions brochure to take home.
