ANNOUNCEMENTS – Sunday, 27 September 2026
- This Sunday, 27 September, is Caritas Sunday. This is a day of common observance for the Catholic Church in Norway, focusing attention on the Church’s social work through Caritas. Therefore, all collections this weekend will go to Caritas. It is also possible to support Caritas via Vipps (#93084), Gift Account 8200.01.93433 (please mark: Autumn Campaign), or by using the QR code on the poster. - On the first Friday of every month, we celebrate the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. On Friday, 2 October, there will be Mass in Norwegian at 5:00 p.m., Adoration and Confessions from 4:00 p.m. Please see the leaflet at the back of the church.
- On Saturday, 3 October, everyone is welcome to the Fatima Devotion at 4:45 p.m.
- On Sunday, 4 October, there will be Family Mass at 1:00 p.m.
- Monday Coffee in the Crypt will start again on 5 October. We gather after Mass, at approximately 11:40 a.m., for coffee/tea and good conversation. Everyone is most welcome.
- On Rosary Day, 7 October, St. Paul Parish will take part in the initiative “The Whole of Norway Prays.” We need volunteers to cover prayer sessions throughout the entire day and night. Please contact the parish office when you or your group are available to take part.
- Everyone who wishes to get married in the Catholic Church must attend a marriage preparation course. This autumn’s marriage preparation course begins on Monday, 12 October, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., and continues for four consecutive Mondays. Registration is through the parish office or with one of the priests.
- On Thursday, 15 October, there will be a Scapular Mission in the school staff room. There will be catechesis about the Scapular at 4:30 p.m., followed by Adoration with Confessions and the Carmelite Rosary, then Mass at 7:00 p.m. After Mass, there will be the enrollment in the Scapular. Finally, there will be a celebration with food in the Crypt. All ages are welcome. More information can be found on the poster, in the leaflet and on the website.
- There will be a renewal and formation meeting of English lectors and lay Eucharistic ministers on Wednesday, 14th, 21st and 28th of October at 7:00-8:30 pm in the Crypt. The meeting will be led by p. Cruf. The meeting is for people who already are lectors or ministers and for new ones. Those who are interested, please contact him directly (mobil 40409518).
