ANNOUNCEMENTS – Sunday, 25 October 2026

- Today (25 October) is Mission Sunday in our diocese. The collection will go to the Pontifical Mission Societies.
- On Saturday, 31 October, St. Paul School will hold its traditional SOS Fair from 12 noon to 3 p.m. This initiative was started by the parish in the 1970s. All proceeds go to a vocational school for disadvantaged young girls in Lima, Peru, where they can receive an education and prepare for regular, paid employment. In other words, this is a concrete project that makes a real difference in people’s lives! Everyone is most welcome to join the SOS Fair!
- On Saturday, 31 October, we will celebrate All Hallows’ Eve with an event for families in the church and crypt at 4 p.m. Children, young people and adults are encouraged to dress up as a particular saint and learn about that saint’s life. Please also bring food to share for a communal meal.
- All Saints’ Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 1 November. There will be no Family Mass at 1 p.m.; otherwise, the regular Mass schedule will apply.
- Monday, 2 November, is All Souls’ Day, when the Church prays for all the faithful departed. All Masses will be celebrated as Requiem Masses. The Norwegian High Mass will be at 7 p.m. in St. Paul Church.
- We will visit the graves at Møllendal Cemetery at 2 p.m. We will meet in front of the chapels at 2 p.m., then follow our usual route, praying for our departed loved ones and blessing the graves.
- Mass intentions for All Souls’ Day may be submitted in an envelope containing the names of the deceased for whom prayers are requested, together with the offering enclosed in the envelope. Envelopes are available at the back of the church. They may be handed in at the parish office or in the sacristy.
- The diocese’s fundraising campaign, “A House Built on Rock,” is continuing. You can still make a contribution via Vipps to number 42921 or by debit or credit card. We encourage everyone to take home a brochure about the campaign, available at the back of the church.
- The Maria, Queen of All Hearts group invites everyone to an information meeting about consecration to Jesus through the Blessed Virgin Mary on Tuesday, 3 November, at 7:45 p.m. in the staff room. Please meet at the parish office.
- The application deadline for St. Paul School is 15 November. This applies to admission to Grades 1 and 8.
