ANNOUNCEMENTS – Sunday, 1 November 2026
- Tomorrow, Monday, 2 November, is All Souls’ Day. On this day, the Church prays for all the faithful departed. All Masses will be celebrated as Requiem Masses. The Norwegian High Mass will be celebrated at 7 pm at St. Paul Church.
- We will visit the graves at Møllendal Cemetery at 2 pm. We will meet in front of the chapels at 2 pm and then follow our usual route, praying for our deceased loved ones and blessing the graves.
- Mass offerings for All Souls’ Day may be submitted in an envelope at the parish office or in the sacristy. Envelopes are available at the back of the church.
- The group “Mary, Queen of All Hearts” invites everyone to five Tuesday sessions of shared reading from the Book of Wisdom and the book Love of Eternal Wisdom by St. Louis-Marie de Montfort. The sessions are intended as preparation for consecration to Jesus through Mary. An introductory meeting will take place on Tuesday, 3 November, at 7:45 pm in the staff room at the school.
- Due to a parish staff gathering in Drammen, the parish office will only be open on Monday, 2 November, and Wednesday, 4 November.
- On Thursday, 5 November, Vespers will be celebrated at 6:30 pm, followed by prayers for vocations.
- A torchlight procession in support of persecuted Christians will take place on Thursday, 5 November, at 6:30 pm at Torgallmenningen in Bergen.
- On First Friday in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 6 November, there will be a Norwegian-language Mass at 4 pm. The Mass will be celebrated with the intention of making reparation for all the sins committed against the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar and the offences against the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
- On Saturday, 7 November, there will be a Fatima devotion at 4:45 pm.
- The application deadline for St. Paul School is 15 November. This applies to admission to Years 1 and 8.
- On Friday, 27 November, students in 10th grade are invited to an experience day at St. Paul Gymnas. This applies to the general studies programme, the broad sports programme and the elite sports programme. More information is available on the parish’s website.
