Catholic Forum announces this year’s first program on Thursday 12th January at 7.45 pm in the school staff room. Msgr. Torbjørn Olsen will give an entertaining & humorous talk on currents trends in the Church. Entrance kr. 30. Everyone is welcome.
There will be an organ concert in St. Paul church at 2.30 pm on Saturday 14th January. Jonas Apeland Salomonsen will play “The Lord’s Nativity” by Olivier Messiaen. Gunnar Danbolt will introduce the concert.
Dom Gregor, the priest responsible for the alter servers, invites all alter servers & new candidates to a meeting in the crypt on Saturday 14th January from 3 to 4 pm.
Our parish has been asked by Father Myron Kuspys, the Ukrainian priest in Norway, to help to buy diesel generators to send to Ukraine. Many people there sit in the cold without electricity for heating & making food. We can help to buy generators & have already collected enough money for 3 (they cost about kr. 11 000 each).
