The parish workshop “Prayer & Life” starts on Wednesday 27th August. Information and a sample will be given in the presbytery from 7-9 pm. The workshop will be in English. For more information see the poster & the folders at the back of the church.
The student group “Fides” starts up on 24th August after the English mass. Meet at the front of the church at 7 pm.
Next Sunday 31st August we will celebrate the parish priest’s 70th birthday after the 11 am. high mass with free church coffee in the school gymnasium. Everyone is welcome. Anyone wanting to give a gift can do so by Vipps using the category “ Dom Alios 70 år”. The money will be used to renovate the church.
A course for people who would like to become Catholic will start at 5 pm om 2nd September on the 4th floor of the presbytery. No registration required.
A Bible group where we read & discuss a chapter in Luke’s gospel starts again on 4th September from 7.45 – 10 pm in the school staff room.
Tuesday 5th September is the feast of Mother Teresa. The Sisters of Charity invite everyone to a feast mass at 5.30 pm. Novenas to Mother Teresa are available at the back of the church & can be used in preparation for the feast day. The novena starts on 27th August.
Catechism has begun for all children & young people. Anyone not yet enrolled must do so as soon as possible. There will be a new group for parents & babies on Wednesday mornings, and a group for 1-2 year-olds some Saturdays.
