Mother Teresa will be canonized in Rome Sept. 4th this year. If anyone would like to travel to Rome and would like a ticket to St. Peter’s Square for the event, contact the Sisters of Charity by this coming Wednesday May 25th.
There will be celebratory concerts in St. Paul Church during the Bergen Festspill program: Thursday May 26th, Friday May 27th, Thursday June 2nd and Friday June 3rd, all at 9:30 p.m. Also on Saturday May 28th at 4:00 p.m. there will be a performance by teachers and pupils from the Organ Club Ferdinand. Saturday the 28th of May the Vietnamese group’s are holding their annual Maria procession at Marias Minde at 12:00 p.m.. At 1:00 p.m. there will be a mass and afterwards agape.
A reminder about Corpus Christi, which is Sunday the 29th May. There will be a Norwegian high mass in Johanneskirken and Polish high mass in St. Paul’s Churc at 1:00 p.m. with a procession like last year, with altars at Museumsplass, the intersection of Strømgaten and Harald Hårfagres gate, John Lunds Plass and at Kirkeplassen. Take time to participate in this celebration of our faith.
