The collection on 8th November for Father Dariusz’s project in Kazakhastan came to kr.19,257. This has been sent to him. Many thanks to all who gave a donation.
During Advent there will be a «rorate» mass in St. Sunniva’s chapel, Florida at 8 am on Wednesdays.
Pupils from St Paul High School will be holding an Advent concert in St. Paul Church on Saturday 5th December at 7pm. There will be a collection for Norwegian catholic youth’s (NUK) Advents campaign.
On Sunday 6th December our parish will take part in the lighting of candles at Fløien at 1.15pm. Everyone is welcome to take part in prayers & church coffee in Fløien restaurant afterwards.
Tuesday 8th December is the beginning of « The Year of Mercy », the holy year proclaimed by Pope Francis. We celebrate high mass at 7pm (Maria Immaculata).
After mass on 8th December there will be a meeting of Catholic Forum. Archaeologist Alf Tore Hommedal will talk, in Norwegian, about «Nonneseter- more than a stop on the Bybane, Life & liturgy in a Benedictine convent».
On Sunday 13th od December The Holy Door will open in St.Paul’s Church during MAss at 11.00 – this Door will be open throughout the Year of Mercy.
During Advent there will be a collection after all masses for Norwegian Catholic Youth Association’s Advent campaign.
