Our parish needs more ushers for high mass, & mass during Holy Week, 1st Communion & Confirmation. Both men & women are invited to sign up for this important duty. Instruction will be given. Anyone interested should get in touch with the parish office, or contact the leader of the parish council Eva Bivand or the Sacristy after high mass.
Caritas’ Norwegian course for new beginners has already started but it is still possible to enroll until 15th February. Registration is via the link on the website caritasbergen.no. The website is in Polish, Spanish, German & English.
The student group Fides welcomes all students & young people from 18 to 35 years of age. It is an International group which meets every Sunday after the English mass & offers different topics & activities. At the meeting on 14th February Eril Andvik will talk about God’s will & finding ones call in life. All are welcome.
The next meeting of Catholic Forum is this Tuesday 16th February at 7.45 pm in the staff room of St. Paul School. The talk will be in Norwegian & is entitled “The Synod on the Family: Yes to marriage, family & mercy for all “. The speaker is Maria Fongen family pastoral adviser in the pastoral department of the Oslo Catholic Diocese.
