The next meeting of Catholic Forum will be on Tuesday 15th March at 7.45 pm in the staff room at St. Paul School. The talk will be in Norwegian & is entitled “The Catholic Church & liberal democracy”. It will be given by Prof. Bernt Oftestad, professor in European cultural history, with emphasis on church history, at the Norwegian School of Theology in Oslo.
There will be a school mass in St. Paul Church on 15th March & therefor no Stations of the Cross in St. Sunniva chapel.
There will be a weekend for altar servers in St. Paul school 18th -20th March. The weekend is for those who have received 1st Holy communion or will receive this spring. All altar servers, new & old, are welcome. Enrollment forms can be found in the sacristy & must be filled out & handed in by 16th March.
The Polish group will be selling “ palms” outside the church after high mass on Palm Sunday. These are a polish tradition made from green branches, flowers & ribbons. Proceeds from the sale will go to Caritas.
