This Sunday, 23rd October, is “World Mission Sunday”. The collection will go to The Papal Mission Work Missio Norway
Next Sunday, 31st October, is the beginning of winter time so the clocks go back 1 hour. This means we can sleep an hour longer in the morning.
At the back of the church there are some envelopes marked “Messeintensjon”. These can be used by those wanting to have a mass said for a specific intention & can be handed to the priest in the sacristy before mass.
Wednesday 2nd November is All Soul’s day. There will be prayers for the dead at all masses. Mass intentions can be handed to the priest in the sacristy before all masses or to the parish office during the week up to 1st November. Please write on the outside of the envelope the name of the FAMILY prayers are to be said for, & at which mass.
There will be a service at Møllendal cemetery on Wednesday 2nd November. Please meet at 1.30 pm as the procession starts at 2 pm. It goes to the graves of nuns, priests & others to bless the graves & pray for our beloved departed.
The rosary will be said for the deceased at 7.30 pm each evening from 3rd to 8th November.
The closing date for enrollment in St. Paul school for the school year starting autumn 2017 is 15th November 2016 for both 1st & 8th class. 1st class is for children born in 2010 & 8th class for those born in 2003. Application forms are available on the school website www.stpaul.no & at the school reception.
