During Advent altar boys & girls will collect money at the back of the church after masses for BUK’s (Bergens Young Catholics) Advent campaign.
The parish is holding a Christmas market on Saturday December 7th from 2.30 to 5.30 pm in the area between the church & the school & in the crypt. You can buy lots of nice Christmas presents. There will be Christmas singing in the church & an outdoor trumpet concert. Surprises for children. It will be possible to buy warm food, Christmas cakes & gløgg. Proceeds will go to the parish & to the Advent campaign.
Come & sing Christmas songs in the church at 3 pm on Saturday 7th December. Amund Dalhlen will lead the singing accompaniment by Eirik Sukke.
On Wednesday 11th December St. Paul’s choir will hold a Christmas concert at 8 pm with Christmas music from around the world.
“Advent at Fløien” began at 1.15pm today, 1st December, with lighting of the first candle on the viewing platform at Fløien. Next Sunday, 8th December, St Paul parish will take part. Tickets for Fløibanen are available from the parish priest after high mass & at Fløibanen.
In connection with their Advent campaign BUK will be having a sleep over in St. Paul school for pupils in 7th & 8th class. See the brochures at the back of the church. Enrolment closes today, 1st December.
