Starting Thursday Oct. 6, and the first Thursdays each month at 6.30 p.m. there will be a Vespers with prayers for vocations in St. Paul Church. Sheets with prayer texts and hymns will be handed out.
The Catholic Forum (Katolsk Forum) invites us to an exciting program (in Norwegian) on Thursday, Oct. 6th: “What do we have in common? A conversation between a Catholic theologian and an Orthodox priest”, with Peder Solberg, theologian at NLA University College, and Father Theodor Svane, priest in the Annunciation of the Holy Virgin Mary Orthodox church in Bergen. The program will take place as usual in the schoolteacher’s workroom at 7.45 p.m. Entrance kr. 30. Everyone is warmly welcomed.
St. Paul parish welcomes all to Sacramental Adoration for the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the church on the night between Thursday Oct. 6th and Friday Oct. 7th. Adoration will start immediately after the evening mass. For more information and sign-up, contact the Mother Teresa-sisters.
Friday Oct. 7th on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Mother Teresa-sisters welcome us to Sacramental Adoration at Maria’s Minde from 12.00 to 6.00 p.m.
This fall’s Marriage Preparation Course will start on Monday October 24th at 6.00 p.m. in the parish meeting room and will continue for 4 Mondays. The Legion of Mary welcomes everyone to a seminar on current moral and ethical topics. The seminar takes place on Saturday Oct. 15 at 9.00 a.m. in the school auditorium. The seminar will be lead in English by Elizabeth von Atzigen from Switzerland, an experienced educator of catechism teachers.
There will be a Family Festival in the Crypt on All Saints Eve, Oct. 31, from 5.00 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to come dressed as a saint or angel, so start making your costume now !
