Our bishops ask all parishes & believers to support Caritas’s relief work in the areas of Syria &Turkey affected by the earthquake. Caritas is already in the area helping in search & rescue, with emergency help, food, medicines, wool blankets & helping to find shelter for those who have lost everything. We ask everyone to support this work. The collections at all masses this weekend will go to helping earthquake victims.

St Paul parish is holding a Lenten retreat on 24th -26th February led by Father Tien, parish administrator of  St. Ansgar parish in Kristiansand. The theme is: Strengthening hope & confidence in God. Everyone is welcome to days of calm, prayer & reflection. Take a Bible & rosary with you. More details later.

Anyone wanting a Catholic marriage ceremony must complete a preparation course. The Spring course begins on Monday 27th February  from 6 to 8 pm in the parish meeting room & continues the next 4 Mondays. Enrolment at the parish office or to one of the priests.

Monday 27th February to Wednesday 1st March (winter holiday) there will be an “at home” camp for altar servers & other children & young people aged 10- 19 in St. Paul school from 10 am to 4 pm. We will learn more about the liturgy, the mass & about being an altar server. We will eat together & take part in fun activities so that we can get to know each other better. Enrolment to the catechism coordinator Jofrid today at the latest.
