Our parish priest has appointed the following to the parish council:

The parish office will be closed during the summer from 2nd to 29th July. Anyone needing to contact a priest should telephone: 55 21 59 50 & you call will be redirected to the priest on duty.
During July & August there will be a reduction in the number of masses in St. Paul church. There will be no worship or devotions & no ethnic mass at 1 pm on Sundays. Any exceptions will be announced to the national group concerned. Weekday mass at 7 pm, mass at 11 am on Monday, Saturday mass at 6 pm, in either Latin or Norwegian, & all Polish masses will be as normal. Masses at Marias Minde will also be as normal.
Seljumannen mass will be celebrated at Selje on Saturday 7th July. St. Sunniva & her followers are patron saints of Bergen & Vestlandet. Vår Frue parish in Ålesund organises a pilgrim to Selje led by parish priest O. M. Stamnestrø. Members of other parishes are welcome to join them. The boat to Selja sails at 11.30 am, followed by a procession from Bø to the abbey ruins & high mass in the ruins at 12.30 pm. There will then be a couple of hours before the boat leaves for the mainland at 3.30 pm. The boat costs kr.300 which must be paid to the parish account: 0540 08 14688. Payment should be marked “Selja” & your name. Enrolment is by email to alesund@katolsk.no.
There will be summer concerts in St. Paul church every Saturday in July & August starting Saturday 7th July.
