Friday 2nd February is Candle mass day, the feast of Christ’s presentation in the Temple. It is also vocation day in our diocese when we pray especially for new vocations. Before the 7 pm mass the candles to be used in the church during the coming year will be blessed, followed by a procession of light. After mass there will be Blasius blessing of throats.
Saturday 3rd January Erik Andvik will give a talk on the theology of the body in the staff room of St Paul school from 1-2 pm. The same talk will be given as an extension of family mass at 1 pm on Sunday 4th February.
Saturday 3rd February everyone is invited to taken part in first Saturday devotions at 4.30 pm.
Monday to Wednesday in the school winter holiday the parish will be having an “at home camp” for young people aged 9-19 in St Paul school from 10 am to 4 pm. See the notice for details of enrolment to the catechism coordinator Reidun Jofrid Kleppestrand.
